ABOUT ABOUT

St. Augustine Parish is proud to host a concert featuring esteemed Catholic artists: STEVE ANGRISANO, SARAH HART, and JESSE MANIBUSAN on Sunday, March 16, 2014.  This concert will be an inspiring night of music, story, audience participation, fellowship, and fun for the whole family!  All ages welcome.

Tickets can be purchased on this website with your credit card.  Alternately, you can visit St. Augustine's Parish office during business hours to pay by cash or check.  http://st-augustine-church.org/

STEVE ANGRISANO: A veteran musician, composer and youth minister who has been featured at 6 World Youth Days, several National Catholic Youth Conferences and many diocesan youth conventions/conferences, Steve Angrisano’s easy, honest style of ministry is born from who he is: a committed witness to the life and love of Jesus Christ. No matter if the song is deep and moving like Welcome Home or a driving anthem calling us to discipleship like Go Make A Difference; whether the event is in an arena with tens of thousands of people, a parish mission where hundreds participate, or a weekend youth retreat with only dozens gathered, there is a consistent awareness that Steve is not just a performer. His genuine and sincere desire to bring everyone to a closer relationship with the Lord is what gives each event its own distinctive spiritual energy.  WATCH "Go Make a Difference" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQJ4TLRy1KI

SARAH HART: Listening to the music of Sarah Hart is a transforming experience. Put any of her recordings on your player and you're immediately hooked by her sweet, compelling voice. Follow the lyrics, and you become immersed in the spirituality and honesty of a seeker who helps us discover the God who walks with us in our daily lives. Sarah's lively, contemporary blending of folk, pop and rock welcomes and delights listeners from every age and background. A staff songwriter for spiritandsong.com, Sarah has written songs that have been recorded by numerous artists, including Robbie Seay, Matt Maher, 33 Miles, This Beautiful Republic, Sarah Reeves and Jaime Jamgochian. Her music has appeared in the television shows Joan of Arcadia and Strong Medicine, and the film Coyote County Loser. Her songs can be found in print in most Catholic churches in the U.S. Sarah has also penned music for two musicals, and works as a songwriter and voiceover artist with the Tom Tichenor Children's Theater in Nashville, Tennessee. She is the recipient of eight Unity awards for her work.  WATCH "Come True Light" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHyAhJD_Vvo

JESSE MANIBUSAN: Jesse calls himself a Catholic lay evangelist who uses music, comedy and stories to connect with people. Very much in demand around the country as a motivational speaker, Jesse's uplifting message touches all generations. "God gives us life. We may have disappointments, we may be really angry or depressed," said the singer. "It's good we can have a moment to say to God, ‘Thank you for life.'"
Although he now resides in Grapevine, Texas with his wife Jodi and their two daughters, Jesse has lived most of his life in Alameda, California, serving as a music minister and youth minister in various parishes in the Diocese of Oakland. That diverse community was the inspiration for his popular multicultural collection Misa del Mundo, as well as the CDs Power of Peace, and Love Never Fails. The latter CD, a collaboration with Ken Canedo, contains the Unity Award-winning Rap/Hip Hop Song for 2003, "MC God." No wonder he was named Artist of the Year by the United Catholic Music and Video Association.  WATCH: "Open My Eyes" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbihOyKIvi8
